Preparation
- Begin by peeling and slicing your apples into small, even pieces. In a mixing bowl, combine the apple slices with brown sugar and cinnamon, tossing until well-coated.
- Fill a shallow bowl with warm water and soak one rice paper sheet at a time for about 10-15 seconds. Let excess water drip off before placing it on a clean surface.
- Lay the softened rice paper flat and spoon 1-2 tablespoons of the apple filling into the center. Fold the bottom edge up, tuck in the sides, and roll tightly.
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Arrange the rolls on an oiled baking sheet, lightly brush both sides with cooking oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through until golden and fragrant.
