  • 1/2 cup Butter melted

  • 16 oz Cream Cheese softened; can substitute with 8 oz. of Greek yogurt
  • 8 oz Sour Cream or substitute with another 8 oz. of cream cheese or Greek yogurt
  • 3/4 cup Sugar adjust to taste
  • 3 large Eggs room temperature
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Toffee Bits essential for flavor

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Gather necessary equipment.
  2. Combine crushed chocolate chips and melted butter in a bowl. Press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. Blend softened cream cheese and sugar with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy.
  4. Mix in the sour cream until fully incorporated.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing gently after each addition.
  6. Pour the creamy filling into the crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  7. Wrap the pan in wet dish towels and place in the oven to bake.
  8. Bake for approximately 1.5 hours, or until the center is slightly jiggly.
  9. Once baked, cool in the oven for 30 minutes with the door ajar.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  11. Serve topped with whipped cream and extra toffee bits.
