Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather your ingredients and tools, line or grease your baking dish.
  2. Prepare your baking dish, using a 9x13 inch size and lining it with parchment paper or greasing it to prevent sticking.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt until combined.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed just until combined.
  7. Gently fold in the chunky peanut butter, chocolate chips, and coarsely chopped pretzels until evenly distributed.
  8. Spread the batter evenly into your prepared baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Allow the bars to cool in the baking dish for at least 10-15 minutes before lifting them out and slicing into squares.
