  • Pitcher

  • Fork
  • Potato masher

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions for Mango Iced Tea
  1. Begin by boiling 2 cups of water in a kettle. Once the water reaches a rolling boil, remove it from the heat and steep 2 black tea bags or 2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea in the hot water for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups of water with 1 diced ripe mango. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Use a fork or potato masher to create a smooth puree.
  3. After the tea has steeped, remove the tea bags and pour the brewed tea into a large pitcher. Strain the mango puree through a fine sieve to remove any pulp, then stir the puree into the tea.
  4. Add 2 tablespoons of honey to the pitcher and mix well until it's completely dissolved into the tea and mango blend.
  5. Allow the Mango Iced Tea mixture to cool down to room temperature for about 15 minutes. Prepare serving glasses filled with ice cubes. Once the tea is cool, pour it over the ice, and garnish each glass with fresh mango slices.
  6. Serve it chilled and invite friends and family to enjoy this refreshing drink together.
