Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, blend together cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth, then mix in herbs, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread and lay butter-side down.
  3. On three slices of bread, spread the creamy filling, and layer cucumber ribbons on top.
  4. Top with the remaining three slices of bread, pressing gently to seal, and add extra herb cream cheese and cucumber on top.
  5. Trim crusts with a serrated knife and cut into quarters. Arrange on a platter.
