For the Bang Bang Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise avocado-based mayo for healthier option
  • 1/4 cup Sugar-Free Sweet Chili Sauce or homemade alternatives
  • to taste Hot Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar or apple cider vinegar
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Green Onions for topping
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley for garnish
  • 2 wedges Lime for serving

  1. Prepare Shrimp: Pat the large shrimp dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  2. Make Coating: In a shallow bowl, combine almond flour, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Beat Egg: In a separate bowl, whisk the large egg until smooth.
  4. Bread Shrimp: Dip each shrimp into the beaten egg and then into the almond flour mixture until thoroughly coated.
  5. Preheat Cooking Surface: Preheat your cooking method: 400°F for air fryer, 425°F for oven, medium-high heat for skillet.
  6. Cook Shrimp: Cook in an air fryer for 8-10 minutes, in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or in a skillet for 2-3 minutes per side until golden.
  7. Prepare Sauce: Whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, hot sauce, rice vinegar, garlic powder, and paprika until smooth.
  8. Toss with Sauce: Transfer cooked shrimp to a bowl, drizzle sauce over them, and toss to coat.
  9. Garnish and Serve: Top with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, parsley, and serve with lime wedges.
